2022 International Convention of Living Christ Mission

The Emerald Jubilee (55th Birthday) Celebration in the Lord of the Founder, Leader, and Archbishop of Living Christ Mission, Worldwide, His Grace, The Most Rev. Professor Daddy Hezekiah OON, International Mayor of Peace,

the 39th International Annual Convention of the Church and

the October International Pastors’ Conference: A Monumental Success.

His Grace, The Most Rev. Professor Daddy Hezekiah OON, International Mayor of Peace, was called to the service of God by the Almighty God in 1967 while he was playing football with his friends in front of his father's house at Umugara village, Nkwerre, in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.

After his secondary education at St Augustine's Grammar School, Nkwerre, he proceeded to the University of Zambia, Lusaka, where he successfully studied Industrial Chemistry.  He returned to Nigeria in 1980 whereupon he was posted to Inland Girls' Secondary School, Onitsha, for the mandatory one-year National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Programme.  There the perfect design and plan of the Almighty God, Living Christ Mission, was founded by him in 1983.

To the glory of God, this year, 2022, marks exactly 55 years that His Grace, The Most Rev. Professor Daddy Hezekiah has successfully, selflessly, and consistently followed the Almighty God in humility, faith and obedience.  Hence, Sunday, 9 October 2022, saw his children from the length and breadth of his church, numerous well-wishers, including men of God, traditional rulers, opinion moulders, the academia, and all peoples of goodwill from all walks of life across the globe gathered in Living Christ Mission's Administrative Headquarters in Onitsha, Anambra State, to rejoice and celebrate this rare perfect gift and blessing from the Almighty God to humanity.

In his opening remarks upon arrival, Daddy Hezekiah stated that the month of October, being his birth month and the month of the International Annual Convention of the church, is, indeed, a blessed and unique one – being the jubilee month, the month of atonement, the month of temple dedication and the only month that has rainy and dry seasons.

In his sermon taken from Psalm chapter 1 vs 1 to 6, he told the mammoth crowd that he would reveal to them the secrets behind his success in the Lord these 55 years. He reminded children of God that serving God faithfully, in truth and in spirit, is not a waste of time, but rather a great gain as such individual is indirectly protecting himself.

He further warned children of God not to take advice from those who hate God, and to also be mindful of the company they keep.  He advised them to meditate daily on the word of God, as this would lead to their prosperity and wellbeing.

Daddy Hezekiah also admonished children of God using Psalm 84 vs 1 -10, in which he stated that blessed are those whose strength are in the Lord and in whose heart are the highways to Zion.  Stating further that when your heart is with God, he will renew your strength.

He also enjoined children of God to make the Almighty God number one in their lives, stating that those who do not go to church every Sunday to worship the living God are missing lots of blessings, because a day spent in the house of God, that is church, is better than a thousand days spent outside or in the tents of the wicked.  He further stated that it is God who bestows favour and honour.  Hence, we should not drive God away from our lives if we desire those things, as they come from Him alone.

Daddy Hezekiah also preached from the book of Proverbs chapter 1 vs 1-33, wherein he admonished pastors and church workers. He equally cautioned children of God to desist from sinning and neglecting the reproof of God to the point that God would get angry with us and vow with His holy mouth that destruction must come upon us, as he did to Eli, his children and Ahab who died in battle.  He reminded the pastors and church workers that if they distance themselves from God and those who give them genuine correction and advise, there is no way God can use them.

He used the book of Deuteronomy chapter 32 vs 6, 15 and 16 to conclude his sermon, from where he raised very serious thought-provoking questions in vs 6 on how we requite God Almighty who created us, established us, alongside His goodness, love, and kindness in our lives.

There were also heart-touching testimonies from some children of God who were kidnapped, but through Daddy’s prayers they regained their freedom unhurt.  Thereafter, Daddy Hezekiah prayed and committed children of God into the hands of the Almighty God.

Traditionally, Living Christ Mission holds her Pastors' Conference three times a year – in February, June, and October.  This year's October Conference theme was taken from Psalm chapter 1 vs 1 & 2:

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he mediates day and night".

The Conference, among other things, advised children of God to be, doers and not mere hearers of the word, and to also distance themselves from the three groups of people mentioned in Psalm 1 vs 1 and to rather take delight in mediating on the word of God day and night.

Commenting on national issues, Daddy Hezekiah urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to resolve the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

He also cautioned against rigging the forthcoming 2023 General Elections.  He observed that if the election is not rigged, it would be full of surprises.  He advised the electorate to use their voting power effectively to elect credible leaders who would transform our country and reduce the suffering of the masses.

Indeed, His Grace, The Most Rev. Professor Daddy Hezekiah is not only a fountain of knowledge, the store house of God's wisdom and insight, but also a blessing to mankind in general, and Nigeria in particular.  Hence, his 55 stainless, successful, selfless, and fruitful years in the Lord was a well celebrated one, punctuated all round by the glory of God with blessings and breakthroughs.

Great man of God, Daddy Hezekiah, congratulations, and many more wonderful years in the Lord to you, wrapped in greater glory and manifestations of God's anointing, power and authority. Amen
